Mr. Bill Adams

Mr. Adams is the CEO/Executive Director of Sports Fan Outreach International, a group who has been used mightily by the Lord to point millions to Christ.  Mr. Adams serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Reformed Evangelistic Fellowship. ​The Lord called Bill into the “highways and hedges” to preach Christ and Him crucified full-time in November 2000. Since then over 10,000,000 souls have heard the Gospel through Bill’s labors.

Rev. Joshua Light

Joshua has been serving with REF since August 2, 2004. He holds an A.S. in Philosophy from Northeast State, a B.B.Ed. from Graham Bible College in Bristol, Tennessee, a M.Div. from Birmingham Theological Seminary, and is currently enrolled in D.Min. studies through Birmingham Theological Seminary.  He is the Chief Operating Officer for Reformed Evangelistic Fellowship.  It is the deep desire of Joshua and Bill to grow the School into a Global Authority in training future Evangelists/Missionaries for the glory of God.

Dr. Rick J. Light

Dr. Light has served since 2001 as the CEO/Executive Director of Reformed Evangelistic Fellowship, the Umbrella of Samuel Davies School and of over 100 Global Missionary units within REF.  Dr. Light has been associated with REF since 1980. He has previously served as the Director of International and United States Ministries (1982-2001). During that time, he led many successful evangelistic efforts in Uganda, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, India, and Russia.

Dr. Allen M. Baker, III
​Professor: Evangelism Practicum
Al Baker is ordained in the Vanguard Presbytery and has been in the gospel ministry for over thirty-five years. A 1974 graduate of the University of Alabama, he received his Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, Mississippi in 1981. He received Doctorate of Divinity in Evangelism and World Missions in August 2017 from Whitefield Theological Seminary, Lakeland, Florida. Al's ministry base of operation is Birmingham, Alabama, serving as an Evangelist with Reformed Evangelistic Fellowship.

​Rev. Larry Ball
Adjunct Professor: Homiletics
Rev. Ball was raised in West Virginia and graduated from West Virginia Tech with a degree in mathematics. He graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia in 1972.  He is also licensed as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in the State of Tennessee. He was a charter member of the PCA in 1973 and has pastored churches in both Virginia and Tennessee, the last pastorate being at Bridwell Heights Presbyterian Church in Kingsport, Tennessee for 31 years.  Presently, Rev. Ball has retired from the pastoral ministry but supply pulpits almost every week. He is married and has three children and nine grandchildren. 
Rev. Ball is the Adjunct Professor of Hermeutics where he covers how to prepare sermons. He actually takes the student through the process by using examples of several sermons he has preached. It is a down-to-earth course that Prof. Ball believes is very helpful for the student.

Rev. Patrick Hines
Adjunct Professor: Homiletics
Rev. Hines is the Pastor of Bridwell Heights PCA in Kingsport, TN.  He received his B.B.A. from Ohio University College of Business and his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.  He has provided the following outline for his students:

Dr. Phil Blevins
Adjunct Professor: Church History
Dr. Blevins is a native of Bristol, TN.  He is married to his Seminary sweetheart, Carlen Davis, and they have 4 sons and 11 grandchildren.  He received his B.A. from Graham Bible College, his M.Div., M.C.E., and Th. M. from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.  He received his D.Min. through Evangel Christian University in Monroe, LA.  Postgraduate studies in New Testament were completed at Concordia Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO, and he also participated in 3 study seminars in England, Scotland, and Israel with Westminster Theological Seminary.  His teaching experience includes serving as a Professor and President of Graham Bible College (1997-2016). He served as an Adjunct Professor of Bible at Belhaven College in Jackson, MS and taught at Grace Christian School in Louisville, MS.  During his pastoral ministry, he served the Carolina Presbyterian Church in Mississippi as well as the Concord Presbyterian Church.
His Church History course is a general introduction and provides an overview of the growth, world-wide expansion and theological struggles of the church from the days of the Apostles to the present.

Rev. Tom Sullivan
Adjunct Professor: Counseling
Rev. Sullivan was born on July 26, 1948 in Athens Georgia, son of Thomas B. Sullivan, Sr. and Helen Thompson Sullivan.  Rev. Sullivan attended Chase Street School and Central Presbyterian Church. He publicly professed faith in Christ while in Athens.  He lived in Athens until his Father took a job with Barwick Carpet Mills in 1959 in La Fayette, GA.  He was a member at La Fayette Presbyterian Church from the time his family moved there until he was made a member of Abingdon Presbytery of the PCUS following ordination to the Gospel ministry in 1973.  He became an Eagle Scout with Troop 67 in La Fayette in 1964, and graduated from La Fayette High School in 1966.  He graduated from King College (now King University) in Bristol, Tennessee with a degree in Psychology in 1970; he experienced an inward call to the Gospel ministry while in college; this was confirmed by Cherokee Presbytery of the PCUS in 1969 and from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA in 1973, and was ordained to the Gospel ministry in July of that year. Rev. Sullivan married his bride Hope Vaughn on July 6, 1974 in Pulaski, VA.  They have one son, Joshua, a CPA in Asheville, NC.

He served as Pastor of the 7 Springs Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Glade Spring, VA from July 15, 1973 until December 31, 2018 when he retired. During that time he also served as Pastor at McCall’s Gap Presbyterian Church from 1973-77, and the 7 Mile Ford Presbyterian Church from 1973-1982. Rev. Sullivan continues to supply pulpits.

He has been an instructor at Graham Bible College in Bristol, Tennessee since 1986.  Being convinced of the sufficiency of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Scriptures he completed the requirements to be a certified Biblical counselor with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (now the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors) in 1995. Biblical counseling continues to be a vital and important part of his ministry.

Dr. Henry Krabbendam
Professor: Evangelism Practicum
Born in the Netherlands, Dr. Henry Krabbendam holds a TH.M. in Systematic and a TH.D. in Apologetics. He has extensive ministry experience in Uganda, Africa, beginning to serve there in 1983, he continues to make several trips each year and has trained many in evangelism. He served as Pastor-Teacher from 1960-1973 and as Professor at Covenant College from 1973-2005. His focus after retirement has been involvement in various Schools of Evangelism worldwide. He has authored the book “Sovereignty and Responsibility”, “The Epistle of James” commentary, and a number of articles.  Dr. Krabbendam also serves on the Board with Reformed Evangelistic Fellowship, INC.  He will be aiding Dr. Al Baker in the Evangelism Practicum.

Rev. DeLacy Andrews
Adjunct Professor: Theology
Rev. Andrews is the regional home missionary of the Presbytery of the Southeast in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.  He teaches Theology at Graham Bible College and has done so faithfully for many years.  He is an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting and fishing in the mountains of southwest Virginia, where he resides with his wife, Debbie.  He is the author of "The Godly Shepherd Chronicles: The Pilgrimage - The Shepherd of Kedar: Book I". His Theology course will seek to discuss key areas in Theology including Anthropology, Christology, Pneumatology, Ecclesiology, as well as arming the Student with the Christian world/life view based upon the Word of God.

Dr. John Dawson
Adjunct Professor: Greek
John Dawson is an ordained teaching elder in the PCA (Westminster Presbytery) and was installed as pastor of Abingdon Presbyterian Church in February 2010. He was ordained as a ruling elder in the PCA in 1988, licensed to exhort by Classis Illianna of the CRC in 1995, and ordained to the gospel ministry by First Presbytery of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP) Church in 1996. He has served as Stated Supply of Lincoln Memorial ARP Church (TN) and was the Pastor of Lakeside Fellowship ARP Church in Mooresville, NC. Since 2012 he has served as a professor at Graham Bible College, and he also serves on its Board of Directors. He graduated from Alliance High School (Alliance, OH) and has degrees from Wheaton College, Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia), and Vanderbilt University. While part of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Pastor Dawson had served in inter-church relations, representing that synod nationally and internationally, including the meetings of the International Conference of Reformed Churches (ICRC) and the North American Presbyterian and Reformed Council (NAPARC), which he chaired in 2003 and 2004.Pastor Dawson is married to Sally Dawson and they have 5 children and 2 children-in-law, who all love the Lord Jesus and seek to glorify and enjoy Him in their lives. They are blessed with 2 wonderful grandsons. Along with his wife, he is a founding member of the board of Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center for Sexually abused Children in Statesville, NC. Pastor Dawson is a hiking enthusiast and an “old time” Appalachian musician who has played s with his family band.

His course in the Greek language will walk the student through the vocabulary and tenses of key words, as well as exmining how they are used in the Bible.  It is important to go to the originals to see the original meaning of the words the Lord spoke through the authors of the Bible.

Who we are
​In 2016, the REF Board of Directors decided that the training should allow students to receive accreditation. Partnering with the rich educational heritage of Graham Bible College, the School is underway and seeking applicants. Under the leadership of REF's Chairman, Mr. Bill Adams and REF's COO, Rev. Joshua Light, the School is named after Samuel Davies, an Evangelist whose heart was tuned to soul winning for the glory of God.
